I used to walk my teacup yorkie down a path by my house everyday...except for in the spring.  The reason is that a Mean ScissorTail bird lived in a tree by the path and would attack me to protect it's nest.  It had no fear and wasn't worried about the size difference, it had purpose.  We could all learn from that...

Before every book release, I write myself a hand-written card, mail it to myself and then open it on book release day.  The letter serves as an affirmation to myself of what's to come.  Imagine if you spent time congratulating yourself or encouraging yourself on your own future.

Last week I had a sinus infection that had my head ringing.  If you've ever had a sinus infection, you know you can hear your own voice eechoing in your head. In hearing myself, I became more aware of what I said to myself.  How we speak about ourselves often dictates our success in life.

My Friend Megan always has a saying when things go well for me or I tell her about something I enjoy or excelled at.  She says, "I love that for you." As a leader, you have to develop enough self-esteem and confidence to be able to wish the best for others, and to help them achieve their best.

Growing up watching cartoons, I always assumed the roadrunner was simply to fast for the Coyote to catch.  I recently learned that in real life a coyote is twice as fast as a roadrunner.  What other false perceptions do we have that shape our world and contribute to our limiting beliefs?
